Please Adopt, Foster or Donate directly to the rescue groups. They need help to feed dogs, cats and other animals and pay
veterinary bills. Rescuers often have to pay to house dogs, since there are not enough adoptions or temporary homes.
The costs are enormous with little to no support from the government.
The WAR creates extra challenges as can be seen on posts of different rescue groups. There are no volunteers, there are safety concerns & less donations during this difficult time. They need your help!

The Operation to Rescue Dogs from Southern Shelters is Underway. During this period, S.O.S. Pets is operating in an emergency format and working vigorously to rescue dogs from combat zones and southern areas.
Dozens of volunteers from S.O.S. Pets went out into the field to help save dogs from shelters during harsh days of war for the southern settlements, who are under constant fire attack.
The organization's volunteers also help transport food for animals and for dog and cat feeders in the combat zones and the south.
In order to continue helping and saving the lives of the helpless, we require your help. Join us in the campaign to recruit people to save dogs in the south. S.O.S. has a secure donation page in English.

Help Dogs & puppies in Yeruham (Negev Region)
Bat EL feeds dozens of stray dogs everyday in Yeruham. She also rescues dogs and takes them to the veterinary clinic. The expenses are huge, she depends on donations. Keren Or Sanctuary
Keren Or means Ray of Light. This is the name of a rehabilitation sanctuary near Tel-Aviv, that cares of more than 450 animals who have experienced neglect, abuse or were abandoned.
In these dark times this sanctuary is still a ray of light for rescued animals.

Freedom Farm Sanctuary
Freedom Farm Sanctuary is an educational center and a sanctuary for animals rescued from the food industries. Located in central Israel. Your donation is their Freedom!
The sanctuary was created out of a vision shared by hundreds of thousands in Israel, who aspire to make a significant change in the attitude of human beings towards other earthly creations.

The Israeli Bat Sanctuary
Did you know that Bats are Cute?
Help the Bat Sanctuary, so they can buy delicious fruit for rescued & injured bats.
Amutat ATALEF (an NPO) was established in order to help, treat, and rehabilitate fruit bats, and then release those who are able back to nature.
The sanctuary treats bats from all over Israel, who were found wounded, sick, orphaned or exhausted.
Arad LeHai
Arad LeHai does incredible work rescuing stray dogs, puppies, cats and kittens. Arad has a huge population of stray dogs and cats, living in extreme condition, some live in Landfills in the desert.
Unfortunately, Arad LeHai does not have a physical shelter. They depend on volunteers and your donations to continue saving lives. They also need large amounts of food, to feed stray dogs & cats in Arad and the peripheral area near Arad. Arad LeHai is an official Animal Rescue Non Profit organization.

Adopt an older dog
They are well behaved, its not a long term commitment, since they are at the end of their life. Get support from Let the Animals Live,
to cover all the veterinary costs for their entire life time. Its a wonderful feeling to know that you saved a senior dog from a miserable life on the streets or in a shelter.
Starting Over Sanctuary
Starting Over needs your help. You can adopt a donkey virtually, donate and also visit the sanctuary; located in Moshav Herut. (Central Israel). Their website is in Hebrew, English and French.
Starting Over wrote on their site: We are a nonprofit organization involved with rescuing animals. The organization takes care of and rehabilitates animals rescued from the streets and livestock industries. The sanctuary is home to animals rescued from all over the country that suffered horrible abuse and neglect or abandonment. At the sanctuary they receive a chance to live free, receive love and peace and in fact start over. Our sanctuary is a place of refuge for the animals that come here, but also for the people who visit.
The sanctuary works to promote education and advocates for the love of animals, seeing each other and raising public awareness for the protection of animals and their rights for the purpose of building a solidary, healthy and tolerant society.
Pegasus is a non-profit organization, located in central Israel which works around the clock, toward the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing abused, mistreated and abandoned horses and donkeys.
Pegasus works in collaboration with the National Traffic Police, the National Roads Association and various municipal veterinarians, and relies on public donations and support.

Our goal is to educate the public about the proper treatment of these animals and continue the rescue and rehabilitation work at our "Susita" sanctuary where our animals receive the much needed physical care and emotional support, as well as a great deal of love.
